LOST Sites: Stop S.H.A.D.E. Petition
Those of you who are regular visitors to this blog probably know about a wannabe in-game ARG group called S.H.A.D.E.. Well someone identifying themselves only as “Stop SHADE” sent me a myspace invite as well as posted a link in the comments to my DJ Dan 8/7 Update post.
The link leads to an online petition to get SHADE to stop their activities. Since I am a vocal advocate against what SHADE is doing, needless to say, I got quite a chuckle from this. If it wasn’t such a slow clue day, I may have just passed this one by, but it’s definitely worth a shout out.

The members of S.H.A.D.E. are getting out of hand, and have now started a spam campaign to try and get DJ Dan to join them. They have already sent spam e-mails to:
- ABC and Disney Marketing Department
- ABC Media Relations - Jennifer de la Rosa Verti
- ABC Public Relations - Tracy Brawley & Chris DiIorio
- Sr. VP of Marketing, Advertising and Promotions at ABC - Mike Benson
- World News Tonight, Nightline, John Stossel and 20/20I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting fed up with their antics, so I started a petition to get them to stop their spam campaigns before they ruin the ARG for the rest of us.

I signed the petition, but I don’t really know what this guy hopes to accomplish with this petition. The guys in SHADE are pretty much harmless at best, and if the ARG admins were really that ticked off about thire e-mails, I’m sure that they would have done something by now. Although, the Speaker did make a post about them, but even then, that was more of a notification to gamers not to take their antics seriously.
