On 14th, it was alluded to that one of the ROT members, BroadBandBeatnik may have jumped ship and went to work for the Hanso Foundation.

Because of Beatnik’s defection, the Retrivers of Truth changed the password. However, unlike the others, this password was not found in the registration e-mail, but found embedded in the code of the cover site.


By taking the code above, and using a base 64 translator, gamers found an odd string of code which was found to be the new password to enter the forum: 1CF11D16-C378-4D5A-B038-00DF9ED171FF

It was later found by duncan from 4815162342.com that this method was a backdoor to finding the passwords. Fortunatly, duncan had a back up of the previous code, and was able to run it through base 64 translator.
