Dharma Secret’s LOST-n-Found: A Blog Dedicated to the T.V. Show Lost

LOST Experience: Frag 28 Compliments of People Magazine & Sprite

According to reports, on August 4th, there is an article about Speaker’s blog in the current issue of People Magazine.

Gamers noticed that there was a Sublymonal ad on the opposite page with the word “Nanite” on the can. Then then entered the word into Hansoexposed.com, and found that it was in fact a frag code. This is the first instance that a word was used as a code which means that now, anything could be a frag code.

Thanks to Damien for scaning the ad.

The glyph itself is found through sublymonal.com. Because the code was found through a Sprite ad, gamers made the connection to Sublymonal.com. The first clue in the hunt for Glyph 28 startes with entering the word “nanite” into the login box at the sublymonal site.

When nanite is entered, a picture of the glyph appeares in the rotating screens, and the following audio message plays which directs gamers to Flickr.com.

Once at flicker.com, the glyph can be found by doing a search for the word “nanite”.

However, the hunt doesn’t end there. By clicking on the glyph, a screen with larger image of the glyph loads with the hint “Search People: lehcarekalb” (which is “blake rachel” backwards).

So, by doing another flickr search, gamers then found an album with the “nanite” glyph as well as a series of other photos with scraps of torn pieces of paper. By piecing the scraps or paper together, gamers found a correspondence between Dr. Hackett, and a G. Downs.

CONFIDENTIAL MEMORANDUM

TO: Dr. Hackett
Apollo Candy

FROM: G. Downs
Engineering Development Center
Atlanta, GA

Date: July 21, 2004

RE: Test Study

Dr. Hackett,

Initial research shows release of the psychotropic compound to be
a success. The acid and flavoring agents of the beverage disguise the
taste. More tests are necessary to reach optimum viral spread. My superiors are eager for you to join our effort, once you have extricated
yourself from your current situationn.

G.

For those of you who don’t recall, Dr. Hackett was the person MelODrama talked to Rachel about.

Yeh it opens up endless possibilitys now what we could be looking at anything being a code…its slightly mad because it means we will be trying everything now to get a frag in.

Thanx Damien. I was tempted to go out and buy an issue of people magazine last night at about 2 am, but then I realized that that would deffinitly rate pretty high on the geek meter, so I went to bed instead. :P

This isn’t right! Nanite relates to nanotech. Which is a theory about the smoke monster that’s been discredited by the producers. They’re messing with my head, grrrrrr…
