LOST Experience: DJ Dan
On May 16th, the “Speaker” at Inside the Lost Experience Blog hinted that something could be found by searching through thehansofoundation.org source code. On a normal site, all you would have to do is right click and then select “View Source”, however, on a flash site like thehansofoundation.org, you have to go to your tool bar in the upper left of your window. Go into “View”, and then select “source”. A pop-up window will then appear with the site’s source code information.
Notice the url (http://www.djdan.am) at the top of the code. Copy and paste the url into you web browser, and you will find the following site.

CALLER ONE: Dennis from Buke (?), Love the show.
DJ DAN: Can’t hide from the truth Dennis. Scam, hoax or conspiracy… You ask-I answer.
CALLER ONE (Dennis): K, how bout plate tectonics’?
DJ DAN: SCAM! Two words, “Earthquake Insurance”, don’t buy it… NEXT!
CALLER TWO: Frank from Roswell New Mexico.
DJ DAN: Careful, Frank’s throw’n out the subliminal UFO frequencies. You ask-I answer Frank.
CALLER TWO (Frank): War of the Worlds radio broadcast?
DJ DAN: *laughing* Hohoho Frank you little devil, Tonya my producer at large, what’s your take on that?
TONYA: Hoax?
DJ DAN: WRONG! Conspiracy masquerading as a hoax. That was what uh… 1938 Frank?
CALLER TWO (Frank): Uh umm Dunno.
DJ DAN: SHUTDOWN! *sound effect* It WAS 1938. First color photos of Mars had just come in and shock of shocks the thing looks like a frack’n Christmas tree. Nothing but red rocks and green heads. Now the U.S. government alien agenda doesn’t want a panic, so what do they do? They get Orson Wells to do War of the Worlds… Get it? They cause a fake panic… Expose it as a hoax, and everything goes back to normal. Couple of years later when the pictures do leak, everybody thinks that it’s another hoax, but that’s the truth! And Wells uses alien film making technology to make Citizen Cain – You heard it here first folks. NEXT CALLER!

You DIE, they freeze you, and THEN the scientists of the future thaw you, and cure whatever disease killed you in the first place… I swear people are really doing this. People like-ah Uncle Walt… Frozen like the Matterhorn. People like baseball legend Ted Williams he froze his head. Guess one day they’ll thaw Ted Williams’ head, screw it on a robot body, and then maybe the Red Sox will finally win the (World) Series.
TONYA: Dan the Red Sox did win the (World) Series. About a year and a half ago.
DJ DAN: Really? I’m a GEEK Tonya. Not a sports geek, but… but I can do ya one better. Try this on for size. ALVAR HANSO! He-ya ConspiraSpies. It’s yet another story accounting for the wear-a-bouts of your favorite arms dealer turned Ma-ad Scientist. We’ve heard it all. Hanso’s a figurehead, your preverbal Mr. Cluck! He’s floating in orbit – a VIP guest on the Mir space station and so on. But this one! It comes from inside the organization. According to MY source, old Alvar’s in the deep freeze in the Hanso Foundation’s lab near Phoenix, Arizona. Now this makes sense! This explains why the guy hasn’t been spotted in years. Now, I’m gonna get serious… We like to have our fun, but when it comes to the Hanso Foundation, consider this the Brussel sprouts portion of DJ Dan and Trish’s meal folks. Now, you know my show. You know that if the Hanso Foundation is doing something, it is NOT GOOD! Sure they WANT you to believe that they’re saving humanity with their top-secret science projects, but we’re smarter than that… And thanks to the hacker Persephone, we now have proof. We ALL know what’s really going on DON’T WE! Frozen or cooked, I don’t want you thinking for ONE SECOND that Alvar Hanso and his cronies are any less dangerous. Anyway, as you can see these cryogenics people really get me. These Hanso Foundation, and their Ilk (?) prey on the weak and the sick and I want you to SHUT IT DOWN! *music playing* So my suggestion to you… Stay warm dear ConspiraSpy. Drink a cup of cocoa, and for GOODNESS SAKE, DON’T FREEZE YOUR HEAD! It’s all you’ve got.

Listening to the podcast, aside from the obvious rant about Alvar hanso and the Hanso Foundation by DJ Dan, two things stood out to me. First, is that DJ Dan used the expression “Frack’n”, which is a common curse word used in the Sci Fi Channel’s show “Battlestar Galactica”. I do not personally think that BSG is connected to the LOST Experience ARG, but I did find it interesting that they used a colloquialism from another show. The Second thing that I noticed is that DJ Dan refered to Alvar Hanso as a “Mr. Cluck” which was the fast food place that Hurley worked at.
Next, we now go to the next link, “ConspiraSpy of the Month”, in which we now see pictures of the Dharma Shark that we saw in “Adrift”.
In the upper left of the page is a message suggesting that the shark maybe a product of genetic engineering.
According to the caption, the pictures were submitted by some one named “Richard P”. So, now I ask, Who is Richard P.?
The next link takes you to a section of the site titled “Eyes on The Man”, in which we find pictures of Alvar Hanso.
Continuing down the list, we are now at, “Mythic Beastie Sighting”.
On this page, we see a picture of a “Mapinguari” (Giant Ground Sloth like creature) that was mentioned on an old script page that can be found on the oceanic-air.com site.
Notice the notes in the margins: “NO! NO! NO!! NO MAPINGGUARI! NOT YET!”.
The last thing on the list of contents are the, “Bios”, in which we find out a little about out podcasters.
There are a few things worth noting about this page. First and formost is the email address: conspiraspiesunite@hotmail.com. Second, is that DJ Dan (Dan Lapinsky) Served in the Army’s Radio Corps. in Operation Desert Storm. Could it be possible that he once crossed paths with Sayid? Lastly, is that one of the places listed as DJ Dan’s hometown is Terre Haute Indiana, which, according to his bio on the Hanso site, is the same place where Peter Thompson was born.
Notice that the bio says that Perter Thompson was born in 1959, and DJ Dan’s bio says that he grew up in the “Tumultuous 1960s”. It is possible that Peter Thompson and DJ Dan have met before. Maybe even when to school together. Could Peter Thompson be the “Inside Source” that DJ Dan mentioned in his podcast?
The last thing worth noting on the site is the footer.
The most noticable one is of the sloth icon which is reminicant of the picture of the mapinguari that we saw on the “Mythic Beastie Sighting” page.
We also see a picture of Joop from the “Joop’s Courner” page on the Hasno site.
At the upper left of the footer, we see what could be a variation of the Dharma symbol, with a “anti” cross out symbol on top.
Based on the cable that Sayid found that lead into the ocean, many have theorized that there could be an underwater hatch on the island. Take notice of how the the black part of the symbol takes the shape of a wave, and how the top of the wave resembles a Shark’s dorsil fin. Could this be the symbol for the underwater hatch? However, upon closer inspection, you will see that it is actually from the Hanso Foundation logo.
Right next to the wave icon is the “All Seeing Eye”, which also has the “anti” symbol on it.
The “All Seeing Eye”, also known as the “Eye of Providence” is associated with the mysterious “Free Masons” and the secret society the “Illuminati“. It appears on the Great Seal of the United States, and on the U.S. dollar bill, and is among the many symbols of Freemasonry, where it represents the Great Architect of the Universe.
At the far right of the footer; we see a pic which, when you try to “Save Picture As”, you find out that it is titled “Fallout”. Your guess as to what it means is a good as mine.

LAst night the links page had a bunch of links on it. they are now gone. Does anyone have them?
I’m trying to track them down myself, I knew that I should have taken note of them at the time, but I was trying to get info on the site posted on my blog.
I thought to myself that I could look them over later. Guess I should have followed my first impulse.
That fallout image looks like an ocean currents map, or alternately the fallout pattern based on weather or air currents. Seeing as we know that the Hanso organization is into weather projects, this would make sense. Predictin fallout locales and strengths based on ocean or air currents. This could also be a map of EMP fallout based on the geographic location of a large scale pulse in conjunction with air and ocean currents. Could this have been ‘the incident?’ (probably not considering all the equip still works, although once the emp fades the equip would come back to working order, did an EMP take down the planes?)
The blue icon is a numbers station, think about Hurley’s pal in the mental ward…
The mushroom cloud image on the top and the image at the far left on the bottom are described as explosion and det (as in detonation). What do these have to do with this project?
Remember Valenzetti? He worked out the apocalypse equation based on the presence of nuclear weapons. Seems like a lot of references to nuclear weapons (hmm Alvar was a weapons dealer, interesting…).
The last 2 are common conspiracies the astronauts on the “moon” and the UFO’s which are both considered to possibly be huge military-government coverups, hoaxes or just flat out lies.

That last picture is a diagram of things to do with Electromagnetic patterns of the sun and the earth. How the magnetic fields of the earth changes because of the sun.
