LOST Experience: Another Scavanger Hunt Glyph from the Speaker

On Sept. 5th, Speaker posted a new video on You Tube.

At the end of the video, gamers found two clues:

It didn’t take gamers long to figure out that the clue “A song about glyphs in my ear rings” refered to the Speakers “S1gns” post in which he posted the lyrics to a somg parody about glyphs.

The next clue, “Their tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms are made out of springs” refers to Tigger. Gamers then searched through the comments, and found a link to a piece of a glyph, and a clue to the where abouts of the next piece.

Gamers followed the clue, and headed over to Speaker’s Reader Mail 6 where they found a reference to the TLEC podcast, and another link to the next piece of the glyph.

Thanks to a precidence set by a previous scavanger hunt, gamers knew that the remaining two pieces would be found somewhere on Lost Ninja’s blog.

Gamers found the third piece by clicking on the “this attachment” link in the post.

The clue left with the link to piece number three, “On the Rocks you’ll find your way,
Hurry there and namaste.” led gamers to the final piece of the glyph hidden in Ninja’s previous post.

As indicated by the clue, the final piece was found by clicking on the word “namaste” at the bottom of the post.

By putting the pieces together, gamers now discovered the frag code “FLHO6CUM181″.

LOST Experience: New Frag Code Found on Speaker’s Comic

On Sept. 5th, fragment code “XQGRMH” was found through glyph hunt which started with a picture of the Speaker holding an Apollo bar on whereisalvar.com.

Gamers quickly figured out that if they reversed the picture, that they could read the clue “Jonah 61” on his t-shirt. It didn’t take long for gamers to realize that “61” refered to code “61, and that “Jonah” refered to the person featured in Speaker’s second ITE Profiles.

This directed gamers to Jonah’s mystace page where they in found Jonah’s “About Me” section the hidden message, “In Reader Mail 10 & 1/Seek he who is the good son.”

This now led gamers to Speaker’s Reader Mail 11 where they found a link posted by Macaulay Culkin.

By following the link, Gamers found another Speaker comic along with the new frag code at the bottom of the page.

Lost Experience: ROT Delivers “Quarentine” Code

Well, lucky for us, the ARG people didn’t take Labor Day off. On Sept. 4th, the Retrievers of Truth forum was updated to include a thread in which the members discuss sports.

This clue used in conjunction with a Verizon ad from an August issue of Entertainment Weekly directed gamers to richerdeeperbroader.com.

When gamers got to richerdeeperbroader.com, they found that a new link (A baseball; keeping with the sports theme from the ROT forum) had been added to the site.

By clicking on the baseball, gamers were redirected to the “Breathe Sports” page on which the frag code “quarantine” was found by clicking on the bleachers to the right of the stadium.
